Quick Health Tips

Dry skin is common during the winter months.  Trap moisture by pat drying after a quick shower. Do not allow your natural oils to disappear with a very hot bath or shower for too long.  Apply lotion generously .  Use cream or petrolatum for extreme conditions, especially eczema or psoriasis.

Preventive Medicine

Many women believe they do not have to have regular pelvic exams and physicals because their uterus and/or ovaries have been removed.

Diseases of the external genitalia, rectum, breasts, and vagina can often be detected by physical exam, not by lab tests and mammograms. Life-saving procedures are yearly updates on your health history and physically examining  the body.
